I was raised up in the Temple Baptist Church, Detroit, Michigan as Joy Loveday from the 1954-1972 when I left with my new husband, Pastor Dan Hardin.  
 
As an eleven-year-old girl, I saw my need a Savior . Dr. Victor Sears was preaching one Sunday night in November, 1965 at my church and I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and only way to heaven. I have followed Him ever since! He has never failed me or my family. 

My parents, Bill and Mary Loveday, taught me to sing as a young child and I 
started piano lessons when I was nine years old. I was church pianist at  the Temple Baptist Church in Detroit at the age of fifteen under the ministry of my pastor, the late Dr. G.B. Vick.  
 
When I married at the age of eighteen, my husband and I left for Baptist Bible 
College in Springfield, Missouri. I never graduated from college, but always was busy using what talents I had for the Lord. God blessed and we worked in several churches. 

Then my husband felt the call to start new churches and we became church planters. We have been used to start churches in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. 

 We have been here in Monroe, Michigan at the Gateway Anabaptist Church for seven years now. My husband, Dan, pastors the church and God has richly blessed us here. Many minstries and many souls being saved. AMEN! We are an old-fashioned King James Bible-believing Baptist church. Our family of five children, ranging in age from 26 to 15 years of age, all sing and work for the Lord.  We are so thankful to the Lord for His love and mercy to us.
